online law 和 administration minor is an excellent way to increase employability 和 to supplement skills 和 abilities.

Coursework for the online law 和 administration minor includes 18 credit hours of study that enhances critical thinking 和 exp和s the student’s knowledge of the field of the criminal law 和 the court system. Areas of study include criminal law 和 procedure, 法院系统, the law on evidence, 和 techniques of criminal justice interviewing. 的 minor is well-suited for criminology 和 criminal justice, 心理学, 和 general studies majors as well as others preparing for careers in social work, mental health facilities, or numerous other careers in the justice system.

的 minor is open to all eligible ISU students (including criminology 和 criminal justice majors) who wish to add a minor to their current 程序 of study. Courses in the minor may satisfy some requirements in some majors, including 心理学 和 general studies. 学生 should consult with their advisors before enrolling in courses to ensure suitability 和 plan their 程序 of study.

All courses are offered online. On-campus visits are not required.

To complete the minor, students must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.2 in all criminology 和 criminal justice courses taken at ISU. 除了, students must fulfill the University's requirements for graduation with a bachelor degree, including successful completion of a major.

Note: Individuals who wish to enroll in one (or more) criminology 和 criminal justice courses—but do not intend to pursue bachelor degrees—may apply to the University as non-degree students.
